Welcome to Wildflower Fiber Arts!
Come along with me as I journey through life and the wonderful worlds of fiber art and rug hooking.
I have always been a passionate advocate for art, design, preservation and education. To my delight I found a niche for my enthusiasms in 1986 when I discovered rug hooking. I love everything about the creative process. From patterns to textures, dye formulas, color planning, the areas of life from which we draw inspiration, even the design of the tools that we use; this is a beautiful, multi-faceted art with a rich history and a brilliant future.
Please be my guest and visit my Fiber Arts Gallery to view my creations and learn more about my inspirations. If you, too, are delirious about dyes click on Wool, Wonderful Wool to see more about the process and the finished products. If you would like to keep tabs on me, hook with me, or attend one of my classes please see my Schedule page for more information on my whereabouts. If you are curious as to my current projects or would like to know what is on my mind then feel free to take a look at my Journal.
I would love to hear from you as well! What are your current projects? Where are you finding your inspiration? Are there any new tips, tricks, gatherings or exciting breakthroughs that I should know about? Visit the Guestbook page to sign in and share with the group or Contact me personally. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for visiting, and enjoy the journey.
May all your weeds be wildflowers,
Sharon Townsend
